The top half of this outfit gets a total thumbs up from me, the bottom half however... I liked it when I first put it on, but while editing and uploading these pictures, something irked me about the bottom half. I love the shoes, I like tights with peeptoes, I like the color of the skirt with the cardigan and collar, but still I feel like there's something off. Maybe it's the length of the skirt (again! I'm so fussy about lengths) or maybe it' something else... I don't know!
I still thought I'd share this with you because I'm quite fond of the collar with the cardigan :)

The lovely, lovely Louise from Polka Spots and Freckle Dots did a post about her purse and its contents a few days ago, and I tought I'd do something similiar. It's kinda long though, so I'll put it under a jump break :)

My go-to bag at the moment is a Miu Miu Bow. The color is called Mughetto I believe, and even though I've had it for months it still has that special smell it had when I first got it :)
The sunglasses in the top right corner are from Dior, and then there's two lipglosses (one Bobbie Brown and one MAC) and a powder compact (MAC). I still carry one from the Barbie collection because I think it's so pretty and I only need it for the mirror, I don't really use the powder. The yellow thingy is a lipbalm by EOS, it's my favorite and I never leave the house without it.
My make up goes into a case from Louis Vuitton. It's called Wapity, it think that's such a cute word ^-^ I usually try to avoid logos or monograms, but I think the colors of this one are cute, so I got this case to satisfy my 'craving' of this line... I originally wanted the Marilyn bag, but I don't like the patina the Vachetta would have gotten after some time, so I settled for this little case. I don't really mind the patina with this one because I don't see it most of the time.
My phone... well, as you can see it's covered in rhinestones. I don't really use it, I don't like the idea of being available all the time so I'm not really interested in phones, but my dad gave me this some years ago so I'd have one in case of an emergency. People give me weird looks when I pull this one out of my bag, but I don't care. I think it's cute and I'm not going to spend money on a new one that I won't use anyway, as long as this one is working.
My wallet is from Ted Baker. Patent is one of my favorite types of leather, and it's got such lovely little details... it says "Ted says: "the more you give, the more you get" right where I keep the cash^-^

That has always been my motto, so of course I had to have this wallet!
The quality is amazing, I've had it for months and months and it doesn't
show any wear.
That's all, I will be back next week with some amazing thriftstore finds and hope you all have a great weekend! As always, thank you for visiting my blog ♥

buns and fur collars! it is all so audrey hepburn and i love her! i think i'm inclined to agree with you about the skirt, it is gorgeous and the look is soo regal, but i think maybe a pencil skirt, anyhow you know i love all your super lovely wardrobe x
ReplyDeleteThank you Maria! You are such a sweetheart! ♥ Your comments always make me smile :D
ReplyDeleteA pencil skirt sounds like a great idea with the rest of this look... I'll try that next time! :) Merci!
Oh, that bag, that beautiful, beautiful bag :). And I love the sweater, really cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tereza! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, Nita! You look fabulous! I love the collar with the cardigan- just amazing! Your shoes are stunning. Your bag is beautiful!! I love the make up case, too. I'm not fond of Louis Vuitton's classic pattern, but in white with colour it's so pretty. Also love the detail to the purse. You have such great taste. I'm one of those girls who sometimes doesn't like being contacted whereever i go, too. xx
ReplyDelete♥ Thank you Louise :D ♥
ReplyDeleteIt feels weird asking this after we both stated that we don't like being contacted/available all the time, but... did you get my email? <- see, weird.
Sorry for being so nosy, I just want to make sure it didn't get eaten by a spam filter or something ^-^
Hello! I think your outfit is so lovely, but maybe the thing that bothers you is the vertical line of the ribbon and then the vertical line of the pleat. It's a lovely look and I wouldn't have thought anything if you hadn't mentioned that you felt something was off. I look forward to following you:)

ReplyDeleteThank you Juliann Whicker, for following and for you kind words! :) Yes, it could be the pleat, in addition to the length... I'm still not sure. But it's lovely to hear that you liked my outfit, so Merci! :D ♥
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, really wonderful and your makeup is beautifully done as well. Great post in general!
ReplyDeleteThank you Semicosmic :)
